Overnight peoples (aka. Who's up?)

i may go with a heat lamp and one of those shrouds that help radiate the heat, they have the lillte clamps on them so I can attatch it to the closet door and keep the cats away from it. I need to ask which would be better to heat the sized area I need.

As for the turtles, the missus wants one too so shes def on board with that, I would love to set up something for some aquatic turtles too but theyre kinda time consuming for the upkeep and I def dont have the time. if I buy a colubrid or smething small i think she would be ok with that just nothing venemous or large
