Though if it were the same TD organization as the one that "employed" the CR that hit you.... maybe they just kinda turned a blind eye to it ![]() That's pretty ridiculous that a CR would hit you.... As someone that's "in the business", that's a TD organizer's PR NIGHTMARE and the LAST thing that should ever happen. I'm really glad to hear you weren't seriously injured.

You know, Oreo's right, and I remember that it was a CR that hit you, but I have been to a track day or 2 that had CR's that should NOT have been CR's.
I put it down to the buddy buddy system, but I'm thinking regardless of what class a rider may be in, a CR's responsibilities to other riders shouldn't really change...and a few of the ones I've seen have gone after some riders like they were Hayden and Rossi...to their detriment, but they did it nonetheless! *in one instance, they decided to sandwich an older, more experienced ex racer, repeatedly, trying to stand him up in a turn as if they were competing, till he had enough and stood them both up and carried along on his merry way! Guess it goes to show that you dont always know what your messing with!!! Sanchez, did anything ever come out of this? Like assistance from the responsible party or an apology? |

It's all water under the bridge now, though. Stuff happens! That's a risk you take when you get out on a race track. I got out of it with only a skinned knee, and that's all that matters.

Oh, and that's the main reason I have a camera on my bike now.

And no, but when its bad enough they have to make you move out while they make repairs, they have a company come in, pack EVERYTHING (literally), clean it, and store it until the house is ready for occupation with no access to us to get anything out. |
