How often do you clean/wash/detail your bike?

Last summer I was heading home from work and I drove through a damn swarm of those flying ant looking things. The fucking things were everywhere, immediately. I HATE love bugs. They make the biggest mess and they're everywhere!

A 10 minute ride during love bug season always results in having to wipe off helmet, jacket, and the headlights. Grrr...!!!!

Alls I know is when one would bust the shield, it would make a mess that looked like 10 flies had been blown up and the bug itself is hardly larger than a fly.

Not so sure that these are them. I wiki'ed them and they seem to be more south of here but do inhabit the coastal areas of NC. ??? All's I know is I don't want to see anymore of those other suckers.

What about the no see um's?? I have heard that those things can be pretty bad as well.
