Because if they make a rash decision and it turns out to be wrong, he can sue them and get the money back and more anyway. I got a feeling he is going to appeal whatever punishment they give him and get out of it. That's the fun of working for the government.

Yes. Even if he does end up getting fired, he can appeal, and WILL be reinstated...

What sucks is he was pulled over less than 5 minutes from my house... See what I get to look forward to every day?!

Perhaps a fitting punishment would be for him to surrender his LEO certificate...I don't think this guy is really someone who needs to be carrying a badge and gun

He needs to find another line of work and never, ever work in law enforcement again. To over simplify, he's on a power trip with absolutely no common sense or human decency at all.

The video proves what a power trip this guy is on. The nurses come out and tell them his MIL is "coding" ( dying). Even the other LEO says to let him go in.

The self appointed "god" purposely takes his time insuring that he is too late to say his final words to his MIL.

If it was my mother that was dying and some cop stole my last minutes with her because he was on a powertrip, there's a very good chance that I would hunt him down and kill him. I'm a vindictive bastard like that.

I hope he is banned for life from law enforcement and dies broke and alone in a gutter somewhere. Fucking pig.

Theres a lot of cops like that. I'm sure there are lots of good LEO's out there, but i haven't personally met one yet.

In my personal experience, the cops in NYC are just dumb and the cops here in Vegas are racist and powertrip.
