My husband got me a custom set 3 years ago. They have been great!! I recently had to get one repaired (jerked it while running) and while it was $50 just for the repair I still wouldn't trade them for anything! They stay in when I run and they don't hurt under my helmet while riding.

I had the Koss ones and even though they sounded great, anything that isn't in the helmet or molded to your ear hurts.

Get the best you can afford, then you haven't wasted money on cheap ones first..
