Spend the time and solder the wires together and use shrink tubes so its weather tight. If you going to do it dont hack it together.

I had these LED flushmounts on ebay... can't find the link anymore... the guy had pics of my bike....
   They were easy to install.. double sided tape... the only catch on my 9R was I had to shave off the tab... but it was worth it... they were way cool and slick
