Same reason kids in civics roll up on M3's and want to test them, or rednecks with 36" tires on their pickups/jeeps use to roll up next to other lifted trucks/jeeps and yell "let's hook em up" (meaning, lets go out to the nearest mudhole, chain my rear bumper to yours and take off in opposite directions and see who can PULL whom)

I just tell them they've more than likely got a bigger dick and keep going I got nothing to prove any more

Dunno- I rarely see a bike going the same direction I'll pass an occasional cruiser, but sportbikes are very rare around here. There is no one to race.
