Okay...have you considered a trade in at the dealer? Or are they just going to rape you silly?

I wouldn't get raped, I rape saleman just not willing to get another payment right now since I can't afford one. I'm going to get what I can for my bike then find a used one I can afford.

Oh I was hoping that your dealership could find you one and then let you trade the VTX in for it kind of thing... I'm sure that you have thought of that and are doing it the proper and more intelligent way!!! BTW are you giving midget rides this year at the rally?

They're cheap bastards where I work, I'd be willing to do a trade if they'd work with me. Last fall they got an 06 ZX14 for $4k, owner wanted my bike with all the accesories on it and $1k to trade. I said no thanks. My bike was worth $4k trade value in the book in stock form and the 14 needed a little work but nothing major.
