When I was 12 (around 1996) my neighbor got a CBR600 F2 that was like this one.
 (best pick of it I could find) I fell in love with street bikes while everyone at my school wanted dirtbikes or ATVs. I lost interest about highschool but regained interest around 21 or so. Funny part is I may have looked at my bike when I was 12 while walking the Honda dealerships lusting after them.

My next door neighbor's uncle has an old Harley that he modded and painted a nice green color (kind of like a very dark teal green that shined). Loved the sound, look and feel. He took me for a short ride down the block one day and I was sold. I'll try to get a pic or two.
