Epic thread bump. Just got an f2 tank off ebay for pretty cheap and have a title'd frame I can move everything to. I did get it running with video I need to post but discovered that the front header has an inch hole in it and is cracked all the way round. Now I gotta dig up money for a full system

My first foray into roadracing was at the hands of Honda Hawks. One was supersport andlightly prepped, the other full on superbike with 700 cc kit and F3 front end. Wonder how many racers busted ther cherries with these.

How's the handling with f bike forks? Any suggestions on oem shock swaps?

Both mine were equipped with Fox Shocks that I dont think are available any more. Had the VFR rear wheel on the superbike and entire F3 front end, which was resprung for the weight but otherwise stock internals. Worked fine. I am not certain what OEM shock would slot in but any of those would likely need a diff spring rate to work. I doubt if your girl is going to need that much suspension anyway right? LOL!

Well she's no danni pedrosa vics actually semi tall for a girl. Could nearly flatfoot the blade before me and derf cranked the suspension stiff, now I won't let her try
