In case anyone was wondering, it is $7.50 for a 36mm socket. And I bet I never use it again. Had to get it to get my front sprocket off. By the way, what kind of fucktard puts an aluminum rear sprocket on a modded R1? The guy certainly wasn't a pro racer to notice the difference.

Here's my fucked up bearing. If it was sunny out I wouldn't have to use the flash and you'd see it better but you get the idea...FUCKED.

You weren't properly torqueing the axle already anyways?!?

You should be able to get that out pretty easily with a bearing puller as long as the inner race doesn't disintegrate when you try to grab it, maybe add a little heat too.

Hell no, I don't use torque wrenches, I do now though.

I don't have a bearing puller or heat. I'm bringing it to the dealer. It might be covered under warranty, too. I just won't tell them I over-torqued the wrong spacer and see if they'll bite. That's the benefit of bringing the wheel in lose. They can't tell I used the wrong spacer. If not, it's not that expensive to replce. Like $30.

Your torque wrench is your best friend. A little tip: to keep it accurate always turn it back to 0 ftlb before you put it away and never use it to loosen anything.

Yeah bringing the wheel in loose will also not let them know you've been tracking the shit out of the thing

It's not my track wheel, it's my street wheel. We use torque wrenches a lot here at work. We have to cycle 'em at the highest setting 5 times before we use 'em and put 'em away at the lowest setting. I'm just gonna pick up a 30 dollar job at Autozone.
