I have a low end 4 cylinder extended cab, it works great. No issues for me. I didn't need a full size truck and the Taco gets good gas mileage. I picked mine up 1 year used too, so I saved a lot off a new one.
Nothing to complain about at all. I am not a cage person though. I really rather be on my moto or have someone else drive me, so my choice of vehicle is not based on how bad ass I think something is, but on economic and need factors.

Yeah, I miss the non almost full size body style. Wish they hadn't gone so big. Kinda ridiculous.
