I lowsided on the street going about 20mph and not only did my "no-cut" break, but before it broke the mount rotated around and cracked my fairings from the inside! It completely fucked up my fairings.

They're specially designed, two-part sliders, with replacebale pucks. The pucks cost $15, so if you go down, instead of replacing the entire set-up, all you have to replace is the puck. Plus the design is such that it's a LOT stronger than most and it's very easy to replace. The owner of woodcraft is a professional racer, and thought that most of the stuff out there was crap, so he started his own company and made his own parts. Check them out:

Believe me, I know all about the rep of no-cuts vs. cuts. They make no-cuts that mount on very sturdy adapters now and that's what I'm going to get. I'm well aware of how good Woodcrafts are, had two buddies go down on them, one snapped and one held up fine. the one that snapped wasn't a no-cut either.
