The last date that I heard was May 9th and 10th. I know they didn't want to do the last weekend in May because of Memorial Day weekend traffic, but if there was a reason for choosing that particular weekend, I don't remember what it was. Maybe Amorok remembers and will fill you in.

The other side of the world... It's really about an 1 to 1 1/2 hours west on 24 depending on what part of the 'Boro you're in. My daughter (middle child) goes to MTSU and works at Demos' there, so I'm there quite a bit.

Sorry, I'm still learning my way around and didn't see where this thread ended up. I picked 9-10 May due to general consensus and it seemed to meet everyone's needs. I called Holiday Inn to find out about reserving a block of rooms in Blairsville, they should get back to me by tomorrow and I'll work it out, I expect to have a tentative group rate by tomorrow. Once I have that I'll ask people to confirm if they're coming on both sites, then get the final total, post it, then reserve a block of rooms. Sound good?
