Default Another new bike day

Well, since everyone else is showing off their wares, Its about time I introduced everyone to the KTM. Anyone who knows anything about the SMC's know that there are a few mods that have to be done. Namely, airbox modification, JD jet kit, can labotomy. All mods are done, with the addition of a lowering link so that my legs can reach the ground and I don't break my leg in the driveway (another story). The rear mud flap will be coming off in a couple of weeks.

The bike

What little that's left of the rear tire

Airbox mod...what airbox?

Can labotomy

Kick starter. Yeah, right.

Koubalink lowering link

Front end

And finally, the standing top speed (101 mph for us Americans)

AWESOME dude. Love those things. You HAVE to do a track day with that thing. I hear they are a blast. Ask PhiSig.

Big Orange Does It

Maybe you should consider a slipper clutch?

Eh. I don't have the gear. Someday I may graduate to the track club, but not for a while.

Slipper would be nice. The bike still has the stock gearing which is really taaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllll. I've hopped and slid the back a few times, but it hasn't been an issue yet. I'm ready to drop some dough on a seat. The Austrian 2x4 is killing me. My ass gets so numb after 30 miles that I am afraid to fart in fear of shitting myself.

HELL YEAH!!!!

FINALLY, another 'tard in the family! I'm not the TWFix Bastard child anymore! (I'm getting a little tired of these buell fuckers, I think the unburned hydrocarbons are getting to them! )

That thing is CLEAN! Very nice! I absolutely love mine! I am planning a trip to TWO in october and I'm brining the KTM, you'll have to come up for the weekend and rip up Wolf Pen Gap with me! And as soon as you get the chance you need to do a day at either Barber or Road Atlanta.

Mine:

Oh, and the previous owner had a KTM comfort seat on this one, and I don't want it (I can't hang-off very well with it, it's too soft to get a good grip) so let me know if it'll fit, and how much you'll give me for it, and I'll ship it out to you.

SUMO FTW, brother. My ass would love the comfort seat. Is it for the stock tank, or the 18L version?

Well, it was on a stock tank, but I was told that it was actually designed for the larger tank. It's a KTM part, it looks like this: (this is actually my bike in the pic, how do you like the poster? )

PhiSig speaks the truth. That couldn't be more true.

When I first looked into bikes I wanted a KLR650 dual sport. My buddy told his roommate(A complete definition of a douschebag. Has 4 kids and only met 2 of them pays for none) and he said "How's he gonna pick up girls on that". He wanted a "Gixxer" 750. He has no riding experience but luckily no money either.
