what I'd do Rogue is, try pack'n a back pack with all the stuff you think you'll need. then just get a bungee net and strap it on your pillion. you should be fine. you really shouldn't need saddle bags unless it's a long multi day trip where you're gonna be on the road with out a chance to wash your stuff...

really... I'm think'n about just mailing my shit up a week prior.

just take'n my tail bag with my laptop and camera in it.
