Go for it!!!!!

My first car was a 74 (+/-) Peugeot 104 - 4 door with moon roof

Piece of shit caught fire while I was on the fast lane of the autobahn.... breaks were gone by the time I coasted to the emergency lane. I bumped the car into the side, grabbed some of my luggage and watched the tank explode (the car "jumped" about 2 feet high)

I left on the firetruck - and had some beers with the volunteer firefighters till me ride picked me up.
