First time at the track- Don't worry about speed, concentrate on being smooth, and the speed will come.

Plan on where you are going to put your foot down. (to avoid tipovers)

Its easier to get off the bike and push it then it to back up on it. (For short people anyway)

Seat shaving vs lowering the bike, and thick soled boots
